Musing over “..a year of”

As the year is nearly done and over I kept musing over what kind of a year it was for me. It’s probably better done in short (well not very short) bullet points:

2019 has been a year of…

Short trips
The latest shortest long-haul trip with most segments I made was just recently when I flew from HKG-SFO-LAS-SAN-NRT-HKG in a span of 5.5 days. Hella tiring but fun!

Getting back in shape
I had been living a couch potato life for several years now. Nuff ‘said.

Instagram story-ing
(Notwithstanding my argument that IG stories are creatively invented by Instagram and Facebook just so that they do not have to  index billions of posts –stories expire in 24 hours– which saves them a lot of index storage space and computing time) I finally have seen the bright side of stories vs. posts — IG stories will save my viewers a lot of junk on their IG feed and because they expire in 24 hours one does not need to curate them. 😀

Uber-ing
LOL. It’s not because I had been sleeping late and had to sleep in a bit more on mornings. On the contrary I had a goal this year to sleep more hours daily, using this as an excuse to wake up 30 minutes later to get more zzzzs.

PS. I’ll probably add more to this post as I look back and remember.
