My first ‘Explore-d’ photo

I’ve just started to get a hang of DSLR photography for the past month. One of my Hong Kong skyline photos have been receiving good comments and likes on Flickr.

Here is the photo. I took it on June 4, 2008, vantage point from a  33rd floor flat in Kowloon.  The Nikon D40 did very well in this photo, considering it is an entry level DLSR camera. I was using a tripod but have just left the camera settings to Auto (yes I was such a novice that I don’t know how to tweak the settings yet).

It was also featured on Explore in Flickr on June 4, 2008 (and then dropped). View large on Flickr.
